Module Overview |
This module furthers skills, practices and competencies for design and production, enabling students to explore and demonstrate these in a studio/workshop context. It will focus primarily on production design practices (which may include lighting, set, props, sound, found objects and costume). The module will prepare students to work in areas of design within theatre environments, to work safely with technical equipment and to be aware of the work that is required in planning for and implementing production processes.

The emphasis is on the importance of embodying fundamental design principles to provide a secure technical foundation for work in the final year of your degree. The module introduces deisgn skills, practices and competencies in production. These may include:
