First degree in psychology or related health science. For Psychology MSc students only.

Module Aims

To provide students with advanced knowledge and understanding of methods, theory and practice in developing and maintaining health throughout the life span.  This course is in accordance with the requirements (stage 1) of the British Psychological Society’s Division of Health Psychology accreditation criteria which are prerequisite for Chartered Status.  This module covers aspects of Core Curriculum 7 (Stress, health and illness), and Core Curriculum 9 (Lifespan, gender and cross-cultural perspectives in health psychology).

Week 10: Sexual health
