Module Overview
Prerequisites/Co-requisites
In order to study this module, students applying for the award of Post Graduate Diploma must have already completed the Journey of Development module, Research Mindedness for Practice module and have completed no less than 100 credits of their award. Students applying for the MSc Professional Practice must, in addition, have completed their Research module.
Module Aims
The aim of this module is to enable the student to obtain a comprehensive picture of their journey of development throughout the award.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the module the student will be able to:

• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge regarding chosen field of study • Demonstrate methods used to drive the professional journey of discovery

• Appreciate how a critical appraisal of literature has deepened the concepts explored • Appraise the level of reflexivity used to develop

• Reflect on the learning opportunities used in development • Explore the extent to which goals have been achieved • Develop a further personal development plan that is meaningful, realistic and achievable through self-assessment

• Utilise effective communication to explore and reflect on personal strengths • Create learning records containing information on the qualities and skills developed
Module Content
The focus of the module is to explore the professional and personal learning that has taken place following the student’s journey of development. The student will be enabled to critically review how their practice has altered following exploration of learning and to what extent theoretical evidence based knowledge has been contextualised to practice.
