A summative assessment comprising of:
A completed practice profile, demonstrating attainment, of the specific learning outcomes of the pathway.
An unseen examination paper lasting two and a half hours, conducted under formal examination conditions. Consisting of pathway specific, short answer questions, and case scenarios.

| Module Aims |
| The aim of this module is to enhance practitioners’ understanding, knowledge and competence to manage and develop their practice within their own specialty. This should enable the practitioner to gain and exercise higher levels of clinical judgment, discretion and decision making and empower them to deliver high quality care that is evidence based and appropriate to the patients in their care |

On completing this module the student should be able to:

| Module Content |
The academic content of the module concentrates on integrating theoretical and practical knowledge to develop contemporary evidence based practice. This approach enables the student to manage his/her self and others in accordance with their Code of Professional Conduct. Each pathway has its own specialist content.
