Presentation (80%) 500 word account of the issues presented related to practice and a reference list (20%)
The aim of this module is for practitioners to explore and evaluate their clinical practice from an ethical and legal perspective within modern health service delivery.
The academic content will be some key taught session but with an element of flexibility to meet the needs of students’ topic areas.
Law related to clinical practice Principles of negligence Professional accountability: professional codes of conduct and practice, and role or regulation Confidentiality: access to health records, data protection, responding to end-of-life issues
