Module Aims |
To enable students having undertaken a period of professional training to report on their work in written form, for the purpose of assessment and to identify strategies for professional development. |

Learning Outcomes |
Upon completion of this module you will be able to:
- Articulate your professional and personal experience of the placement in report format
- Critically review and appraise the main activities and the range of tasks/activities performed by you during the placement
- Evaluate your role within the host organisation
- Describe and analyse the context in which you were working,with particular reference to the host organisation, its administration and structure
- Analyse and evaluate the waysin which the range of tasks/activities utilised and extended skills and knowledge, including creative and/or technical achievements
- Reflect upon and describe areas of activity and responsibility, including problems and how they were resolved
- Reflect upon and described the training benefit of the professional placement
- Evaluate your professional development over the whole placement period, with particular reference to development since the mid-term report
- Reflect upon and made use of feedback
- Recognise your own strengths and weaknesses in the professional context
- Identify strategies for future professional development
