Module Aims |
- To examine current issues within music practices
- To explore current research and theories in arts management
- To consolidate the knowledge and understanding of music practice, policies and issues with particular reference to experience gained on placement

Upon completion of this module you will be able to:
- Critically evaluate and discuss in detail the current issues facing arts practitioners, administrators and managers
- Engage articulately and professionally in group debate

Module Content |
Exploration of a range of current issues in professional music practice, with reference to areas such as marketing, management, social inclusion and access to funding. Students will have the opportunity to share their own research and practical experiences. The module is discussion based with preparatory reading and individual participation and group interaction required. |
