To enable you to develop your skills as an ensemble performer, appropriate to this level, and not necessarily confined to a single instrument/voice. |

- make evident an awareness and understanding of basic marketing principles, applied to the needs of performers

Performance seminars, chamber music coaching, workshops and rehearsals (choir, orchestra, ensembles etc) |

| Methods of Teaching/Learning |
- for instrumentalists and singers, participation in orchestras, choirs, ensembles, bands
- for pianists, additionally, accompanying a share of rehearsals of the University Choir, and prominent participation in the Croser-Hughes Chamber Music Award
- for everyone, participation in University concerts and recitals
- attendance at selected performance seminars
- attendance at 3x2 hour seminars on marketing for performers, and supporting tutorials
- comparative review of recordings, taught in 2x2 hours of seminars
NB For those students taking Ensemble Performance ONLY. You are required to submit a Performance Log by Friday, week 11 in the Spring Semester. This is to ensure that Department records are correct. This does not affect the requirements for the Solo Performance module. |
