Module Overview
The purpose of this module is to enable you to develop the knowledge and understanding gained in Musicology A through engagement with an extended case-study of your own choosing.
Prerequisites/Co-requisites
Musicology A.
Module Aims
• To foster your ability to research a given musicological topic.
• To develop your ability to undertake an extended piece of writing.
• To enhance your understanding of the contemporary musicological approach(es) appropriate to your chosen topic.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module you should be able to:

• Demonstrate basic skills in research methodologies.
• Organize and structure an extended project.
• Explain or analyse aspects of a topic chosen in consultation with the module convenor.
