To develop your understanding of the basic musical characteristics of the most commonly used instruments in classical music and the way composers write for them. |

Module Content |
Introduction to characteristic features of instruments (piano, strings, harp, woodwind, brass, some percussion) and the music written for them
Transposition from written to concert pitch. |
