Module Overview |
This module allows students to build on the knowledge and skills, gained at level one and two, in developing an understanding of key practical aspects of audio visual media production and provides an opportunity to present ideas and analysis in the form of television studio based productions. |

Module Aims |
- To develop students understanding of multi-camera and television studio production processes.
- To introduce students to a range of considerations associated with television studio based video production.
- To allow students to embody their theoretical and analytical understanding of media and communication in practice
- To allow students to develop skills of responsibility and teamwork to a high level

Learning Outcomes |
On completion of this module, students are expected to be able to:
1) Demonstrate a sound understanding of current television studio and lighting equipment and editing software
2) Demonstrate an awareness of a range of considerations associated with television studio based video production.
3) Work within the tight discipline of team practice in an industrial setting with an understanding of the conventions of multi-camera production.
4) Analyse communication through practical media production
Undertake highly complex technical projects from concept to realisation working effectively as a member of a production team |
