The assessment is made jointly by the visiting tutor (normally on visit 2) and the placement supervisor on the basis of the student’s work and performance during the first six months of the professional training year. The marks of the year group as a whole will be moderated at a meeting of all the visiting tutors. No reassessment is normally possible without repeating level P.
