Module Aims |
The aim of this course is to provide students with a good knowledge of the Spanish legal system; The Module will also develop students' ability to work with Spanish legal terminology and practical guidance on studying law at a Spanish university and working in a Spanish legal environment. |

By the end of this module, students should be able to:
- Identify Spanish legal terminology
- Understand Spanish legal concepts and apply them in theory and in practice
- Demonstrate a good understanding of the Spanish legal system

The module explores the most important issues of the Spanish legal system in general terms
- Constitutional law
- Civil Law (Contracts, Rights, Family law)
- commercial law
- labour law
- procedural law
- tax law

Methods of Teaching/Learning |
The method of teaching is by lectures, these lectures will introduce the students to the subject areas. The students will learn how to use Spanish legal sources to develop answers to cases applying the law according to Spanish legal methodology
