Module Overview
This module is for all students studying in a foreign university during their placement year.

Successful completion of HE 2
Module Aims
This module aims to recognise the modules studied whilst at a host university.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of the module, students will have:
  • Enhanced their subject specific knowledge and skills
  • Furthered their language skills in the target language
  • Learnt about the structure and methods of education in the host country
  • Learnt about the culture of the host country
Module Content
Students must have complete the equivalent of 45 Surrey credits in agreement with their tutor.
Methods of Teaching/Learning
Lectures and tutorials in the host university whilst on study placement. Students studying under the rasmus scheme are required to complete 30 ECTS credits during one semester.
