Module Overview
This module is designed for students to investigate and report on the professional function of a particular person or company with an aim to deepen their understanding of the professional world, making them a more prepared individual for life after university.

Module Aims
This module aims to:
develop report writing skills in the target language
broaden students’ understanding of professional practice and the concept of professionalism
develop students’ understanding of the structure and organisational aspects of a business.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of the module, students will be able to:
communicate in writing their understanding of the professional roles and functions of personnel in a company or organisation;
demonstrate observation, analysis and critical evaluation of operational practices
apply academic theory to the study of work activities and processes
