Module Content |
At the end of the placement, students produce a written report in the language of the placement country (3000 words for 46 weeks or more), covering the whole placement experience. In their reports, students describe the company or organisation providing the placement, the tasks undertaken and the responsibilities given. They comment on the development of key skills in terms of personal development planning, and the academic work undertaken to prepare for the final year at university. Students are also encouraged to reflect on cultural differences experienced during the year abroad, and the improvement of their foreign language skills. Guidelines for writing the report are available to students throughout the year on the departmental ULearn website. |
