Module Content |
Specific content will be a matter for discussion between student and supervisor, but will be one of the following:
- Study of a minority language/ dialect, either in the country of the target language, or in some way related to it. (For example, regional or minority language in France; French or creole speakers in UK).
- Study of an issue related to language education, such as uptake of MFL in UK; minority language provision in a region of France).
- Study of an issue related to language policy, such as language use in internationally operating French corporations, etc.
The subject should be chosen during the placement year, and must be approved by a potential supervisor. The subject can then be more clearly defined after consultation with the supervisor.

The report will demonstrate the ability to analyse and extract information from survey data. |
