|
Module Aims |
The module aims to provide the students from process engineering programmes with an introduction to petroleum production and a systematic understanding of surface operations which have close relations with process engineering. |
|
|
Learning Outcomes |
On successful completion of the module, you will be able to:
· Identify the main petroleum products and production facilities.
· Identify and explain the important technical areas of surface operations.
· Explain and apply methods of the conceptual design of important separation processes.
· Explain and analyze the economic aspect of surface operations.
Recognise and apply the tools and principles for the safe design and operation of surface processes and systems. |
