| Module Aims |
- To introduce and to develop understanding of concepts in team working, leadership and management.
- To give the students experience of working in teams and adopting leadership roles.
- To expose the students to concepts of management and to give experience in conducting meetings and in negotiation.

Upon successful completion of the module, students should be able to:

| Methods of Teaching/Learning |
Teams & Teamwork, leadership sections: based around short lectures, group exercises, discussion and review sessions
Management section: a more traditional lecture basis than the previous sections, but containing experiential sessions on business meetings and negotiations
10 hours lectures, 15 hours practical sessions, and 75 hours independent learning.
Total student learning time 100 hours. |
