Module Overview
This module will examine the fundamentals of energy economics from the demand and supply sides: covering appropriate economic theory, empirical studies, and policy issues

Module Aims
To train students to be able to analyse the economics of energy
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the module students will:-
have knowledge of the UK, and world energy situation
have an understanding of the economic fundamentals of energy demand and supply
have an understanding of the economic fundamentals underpinning most energy types
be familiar with the important theoretical work that underpins the study of energy economics
appreciate the important energy policy issues
