Module Overview
This module seeks to advance individual computer-based creative practice.
Prerequisites/Co-requisites
Pre-requisite: Composing Music with Computers 2A.
Module Aims
The aims of this module are to:

• Develop research and analysis in support of creative practice.
• Develop production skills.
• Develop skills in writing about creative practice.
• Develop individual compositional practice.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module you should be able to:
• Effectively apply research and analytic skills in support of creative practice.
• Effectively exploit and apply production skills in computer-based creative practice.
• Give a written account of the most significant aspects of your practical work.
• Conceptualise, develop and realise individual compositional work.
• Sustain an effective studio-practice regime.
• Begin defining your compositional methodology.
Transferable skills:
• Take responsibility for academic work with minimum direction

• The role and technique of mixing in computer-based compositional practice.
• How to write about your practical work.
