Learning Outcomes

      On successful completion of this module you should be able to:-

 

      ·     Understand and evaluate the relative usefulness of a range of analytical techniques, including chromatography, atomic spectroscopy, hyphenated techniques using mass spectrometry, 3H NMR spectroscopy

      ·     Understand instrumental calibration and validation

       ·     Evaluate instrumental interferences and analytical figures of merit
