Module Overview |
This module provides an introduction to pharmacology, covering the basic principles of how drugs work and the actions of many of the major drug classes in therapeutic use. It also includes the fundamentals of how the body handles drugs, covering the major pathways of absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion as well as factors that can influence these.
